Is the product brewed?
No, brewing fruit does not get the best out of it. We have found a process that avoids this but uses the best elements of the brewing process and the fruit juice process (but it has to remain our little secret!).
I have a wheat allergy; can I drink WP Hopper?
No. Because WP Hopper uses natural products, it has traces of wheat and barley so they are not suitable.
Is there added sugar?
Yes, there is a small amount of added sugar. Each bottle has less than 100 calories; much lower than conventional soft drinks and beer.
Who is behind The Juice Brewery?
The Juice Brewery is a private company formed by a number of individuals who share a belief that current soft drinks do not satisfy the adult palate. These include Neville Portelli and Greg Watson who first thought of the initial concept, and Don Goulding, who has a background in the drinks industry.
Where is WP Hopper made?
WP Hopper is made in the UK and is produced by an independent brewer with a long tradition of creating high quality products. The location of this brewery is confidential. However, we can tell you that they hold a grade A in the BRC Global Standard Food accreditation from Lawlabs Ltd.
How is WP Hopper made?
The process is confidential; we can tell you that we have taken the best elements of the brewing process and the best elements of the fruit juice process to deliver a refreshingly unique drink. Are all the ingredients used in WP Hopper natural? Yes they are. We require stabilisers to ensure the drink remains refreshing for you; however we only use natural stabilisers.
How many calories does WP Hopper have?
The calories in WP Hopper are lower than most soft drinks at only 99 calories per bottle.
Is WP Hopper 100% non-alcoholic?
Yes, our process never allows alcohol to enter and we do ethanol testing on each production to ensure there is no alcohol.
Can WP Hopper be mixed with alcohol?
The primary function of The Juice Brewery is to provide a non-alcoholic alternative for grown ups. But as long as you are an adult you can mix it with whatever you want (we are told that Hopper and Champagne go down a treat!).
Can children drink a WP Hopper too?
Hopper has been developed for a more adult taste however as a soft drink they are appropriate for children to consume.
What is the shelf life of WP Hopper?
The Juice Brewery recommends 12 months from production, after which the product is still safe to consume.
What are WP Hopper occasions?
WP Hopper is perfect for any number of occasions. You can have a Hopper before and during lunch or dinner; the low sugar level and the refreshing taste go well with food. A Hopper can also be a refreshing drink after work or after sport; or in the evening. Hopper is ideal for parties and gatherings where people may be looking for a more sophisticated soft drink.
